This page explains how we handle data across wherepanda.xyz, faceit.wherepanda.xyz, and our browser extensions for Chrome and Edge.
We do not sell personal data. wherePANDA is designed to fetch and display information from public APIs when a user requests it.

1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the wherePANDA services operated at wherepanda.xyz and faceit.wherepanda.xyz, as well as our browser extensions available for Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
2) Data we process
wherePANDA primarily displays data retrieved from Steam and FACEIT when you request analysis. Depending on the feature, we may process:
- Identifiers (e.g., SteamID, FACEIT player ID) needed to request stats.
- Public profile data provided by Steam/FACEIT (nickname, avatar, country, match stats).
- Technical data (IP address, user-agent) in standard server logs for security and abuse prevention.
- Session data for keeping you logged in after Steam/FACEIT sign-in.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for advertising.
3) Cookies & sessions
Our website may use strictly necessary cookies for core functionality (for example, login sessions). These cookies help the site remember your session between page loads.
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in after Steam/FACEIT login.
- Security: protections against abuse and unauthorized requests.
4) Steam & FACEIT APIs
Data shown in our tools comes from Steam and FACEIT endpoints/APIs. Availability and accuracy depends on those services.

5) Browser extensions (Chrome / Edge)
Our extensions provide contextual information inside supported pages (for example, FACEIT pages). They may request data from public APIs and/or from wherePANDA services to display results.
The extension may request host permissions to call FACEIT endpoints and wherepanda.xyz endpoints to display analysis. Permissions are limited to what is necessary for the features you use.

6) Security
We use reasonable measures to protect our services (access controls and standard web security protections). No system is 100% secure, but we aim to reduce risk and respond quickly to issues.
7) Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:
- Session data expires or is deleted when you log out / session expires.
- Server logs may be retained for a limited period for security and abuse prevention.
- On-demand results are primarily displayed to you; caching (if any) is used to improve performance.
8) Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing. Because wherePANDA primarily displays data from Steam/FACEIT, requests about that underlying data may need to be addressed to those providers.
